Visit Queensland Pty Ltd is a subsidiary Company of Southern Queensland Tourism Pty Ltd.

Visit Queensland (VQ) was established in November 2003 to allow for a divergence of activity & services over and above the operation of the Brisbane Airport Visitor Information Centres which had been established under the name of Southern Queensland Tourism Pty Ltd (SQT).

Since 2003 VQ has been the managing company of a number of SQT tourism activities including ‘on line’ business generated through the company website and most recently providing Auditing Services to the Tourism Industry.

Southern Queensland Tourism Pty Ltd

Southern Queensland Tourism (SQT) operates as a Destination Marketing Company and is the parent company of Visit Queensland.
SQT was established in July 2001 and has since that time operated the accredited Visitor Information Centres (VIC) at Brisbane’s Domestic & International Airport on a 24/7 basis. The VIC’s provide opportunities for businesses to promote their products to arriving passengers through Brochure Distribution, Booking Board advertisements and Product Sales.

SQT has also been the publisher of the Southern Queensland Trade Manual and is the current publisher of the Brisbane Airport arrivals & departures publication, Your Guide.

SQT operates the Brisbane Airport Ambassador Program.

SQT works in partnership with the Brisbane Airport Corporation to educate the travel industry within source markets.

SQT is the operator of www.southernqueensland.com.au providing visitors the opportunity to source destination information and purchase products.
